Good questions.
Clear answers.

Setup, matches, and your resume. Here's what to expect.

Is Joblook free?

Joblook is free during the MVP launch. You can browse jobs, get personalized matches and email alerts, and track your applications during this period.

What do I need, and when will I see matches?

Sign in with Google, upload a resume, and set your job preferences. We prepare your resume and matches in the background; your shortlist appears in For You when ready. You can browse jobs while you wait. Results depend on available roles that fit your experience and preferences.

What do Strong match and Good match mean?

Both labels mean Joblook found evidence in your resume for the role's assessed required qualifications. Strong match also means it found evidence for all assessed preferred qualifications. Good match covers the required qualifications without that additional confirmation. These labels compare your resume with the role; they do not predict an interview or offer.

Will I get new matches and email alerts?

Joblook refreshes your matches daily as new opportunities become available. Daily email job alerts help you keep up without repeating the same searches. You can manage job alerts in your notification settings.

Can I browse without uploading a resume?

Yes. Browse and filter jobs without an account or a resume. Sign in to save jobs and track applications. A primary resume and job preferences are needed for personalized recommendations.

Where are the jobs based?

Joblook currently focuses on roles in the United States. Use location and work mode filters to explore on-site, hybrid, and remote opportunities. Remote roles may still have location or eligibility requirements, so check the full job description.

Does Joblook apply to jobs for me?

You choose which jobs to apply to. Joblook takes you to the employer's application page. When you return, confirm whether you applied, then update your status and add notes in My Jobs.

Are the recommended jobs still open?

Joblook checks availability before including a role in your recommendations and shows when it was checked. Employers can close roles at any time, so check the original posting before you apply.

How is my resume used, and can I remove it?

Your resume library is tied to your account. Joblook processes resume content with AI service providers to understand your experience and compare it with job requirements. You can delete a saved resume from Resumes when it is not being processed. To delete your primary resume, choose another one as primary first.
